Hallmark Chief Executive takes part in Snetterton 24-hour race
Hallmark Chief Executive, Chris Hall has taken part in this year’s Citroen 2CV 24-hour race in Snetterton, Norfolk – the longest running 24-hour race in the UK.
In its 28th year, the endurance marathon sees 2CV drivers face the challenge of competing with the British weather through the day and night with only their headlights to guide them.
Chris first got involved in the race last year where his ‘beginner’s luck’ saw him steal 7th place. This year his car ‘96’ achieved 16th place out of 24 cars after needing 3 hours of work in the pits and the engine stopping after the parade lap. However, Chris and his team of 3 other drivers did take the lead for 5 laps of the race.
Next on the agenda for Chris is more 2CV racing at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium.
